Bella Paquita!!

This sweater has been on my mind for quite awhile. The first time I saw the pattern, I knew I'd be making it eventually. That was 2 years ago. The Sexy Knitters Club had a knitalong recently for it and although I didn't finish in time (March), I have finished it.

I learned ALOT with this sweater. First time with the provisional cast on, first time seaming a knit item, I improved my lace knitting and fitting techniques. But most importantly, I learned to trust that I knew what I was doing. :) Each piece made me wonder if I was doing it right, would I get a proper fit, would I mess everything up with my seaming. Lots of anxiety but I love the finished sweater. It's not blocked yet but I couldn't wait to post it.

For all the knitters, I used 5 skeins of Patons Classic Merino Wool yarn in natural mix with my size 8 circulars. My gauge was slightly off so I compensated by knitting the large. The FREE pattern can be found here.

Another Quick One

To finish up the yarn from the scrubbie and hot pad, I made this ripple bag. Just wanted to try the pattern and my daughter can always use another bag for her stuff.

Spiral Scrubbie and Flower Hot Pad

I took a break from endless sweater knitting to do some quick projects. A Spiral Scrubbie and a Flower Hot Pad. It was nice to do something fast and use up some yarn.
